Thoughts from Proverbs 27
Prov. 27:2 Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; someone else, and not your own lips.
Don’t brag about yourself.

True friends tell the truth and you grow as a result.

Prov. 4:24 Put away perversity from your mouth; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.
If the hearts clean, the mouth is too.
Prov. 4:25 Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you.

Finding Strength in God
1Sam. 30:3-6 ”When David and his men came to Ziklag, they found it destroyed by fire and their wives and sons and daughters taken captive. So David and his men wept aloud until they had no strength left to weep. David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the LORD his...

Experience
“In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach.” Acts 1:1
Our culture values information over experience. We teach then do. Someone can actually get a Business Degree from our universities and never have been in business. Weird.
But Jesus did the opposite. He did, then used it as a platform to teach. His experience gave him a voice. Acts 1:1...

Tipping Points (pt.2)
Tipping-point people are the change agents. They are culture-shifters. For example, revivalists like Martin Luther, John Wesley, William Seymour, Aimee Semple McPherson, Oral Roberts, John Wimber and more were past tipping-point people. I would say that tipping-point people today are Bill Johnson, John Arnott and Heidi Baker, Mike Bickle and Lou Engle and of coarse Billy Graham, just to name a...

"The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a...
“The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference” authored by Malcolm Gladwell is a study in shifts that happen in cultures. From music, politics and even revivals. What interested me to investigate this further is a teaching on Tipping Points by Lance Walnau and a segment in Malcolms book on how revivals create tipping points in cultures.
Tipping-points are “the...

If you’re on the wrong road get off at the nearest exit. A cliff is awaiting you.

See What God is Saying
Vision is all about seeing. Without it we tend to run in so many different directions. It’s true, that our focus does determine our reality. And we become what we behold. I am learning the more I behold the Lord the more I become like Him. And the more I become like Him the more focused His purpose and vision becomes in my life . There are really no substitutes for getting a vision from God....

SMITH WIGGLESWORTH QUOTES
1) “Fear looks; faith jumps. Faith never fails to obtain its object. If I leave you as I found you, I am not God’s channel. I am not here to entertain you, but to get you to the place where you can laugh at the impossible.”

Some Ways I Stay Focused on Kingdom Living
I have to remind myself often that the Kingdom of God is not a republic (democracy). I am growing in my understanding of how Kingdoms are governed, especially His. His Kingdom appears to be upside down. Really, God’s Kingdom is right side-up and I am upside-down. That’s why it is so important to keep repenting toward right thinking.
Here are a few things that I do to keep myself focused on His...
